Olive Faye Banks

Olive F. Banks of Harvey Station, NB passed away July 11, 2008 at Pine Grove Nursing Home, Fredericton. Born at Upper Highland, Carleton County, NB in 1922, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Lucy (Sayles) Guthrie. Olive was a community minded person with a great love for her family.

She is survived by two daughters, Mavis Banks-Carr (Lowell), Oromocto, NB and their children, Keith Moffitt (Nicole), Sabrina Noble (Eric) and Becky Harris (Joel) and Dawn Elaine Corscadden (Gary), Quispamsis, NB and their children, Angela Corscadden (Richard), Shelly Donahue (Bill) and Michael Corscadden (Kelly); a son, Thomas Banks (Jane), New Maryland, NB and their children, Holly Hudson (Mike), Tammy Banks, Courtney Atkinson (Jennifer) and Carmen Atkinson (Robert); great grandchildren, Sam, Max, Abby, Tricia, Noah, Sean, Scott, Sarah, Delayne, Wylie, Cody, Taylor, Claire and Cate; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Olive was predeceased by her husband, Vaughan Banks in 1976, a sister, Velma Griffith, a brother, Claude Guthrie and a great granddaughter, Emily Joy Elizabeth Noble.

Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Home, 1826 Highway 3, Harvey Station, NB on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 2412 Highway 3, Harvey Station, NB on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at 4 p.m. with Rev. Bonnie Wynn officiating. Interment in Cherry Mountain Cemetery.
