Arthur Felton Willard Leslie

Arthur F. W. Leslie of Upper Hainesville, NB passed away December 23, 2011 at Carleton Manor in Woodstock, NB. Arthur was born at St. Andrews, NB in 1923, a son of the late Dennis and Verna (Conley) Leslie. He was a veteran of the Second World War, serving overseas for five years. Arthur was a woodsworker and an avid card player.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth K. (Graham) Leslie; a daughter, Cathy Hoyt (Charles), Melfort, Saskatchewan; a son, Arthur Leslie Jr. (Marsha), Hainesville, NB; his grandchildren, Burton Hoyt (Michelle), Swana Pelletier (Cam), Candace Meyers (Edgar), Jenny Hoyt, Tracy Hoyt, Chance Leslie and Honey-Lee Leslie; eight great grandchildren and friends David and Margaret McCumber, Smithtown, NB and several nieces and nephews.

Arthur was the oldest of his family and in addition to his parents was predeceased by two sisters, Beatrice Duplesis and Frances Leslie and two brothers, Major and Gaston Leslie.

At Arthur’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will be held at the Ridgeview Cemetery, Upper Hainesville at a later date.
