George B. Drost of Nackawic, NB passed away peacefully, with daughter
Debbie and granddaughter Shannon by his side, on July 15, 2016 at the
Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. George was born in 1933 at
Southampton, NB, a son of the late J. Arnold and Gladys (Knox) Drost.
He is survived by his wife, Phylena (Cronkhite) Drost; five children, Sandra Clements (Paul), British Columbia, Steven Drost (Betty), Alberta, Debbie Bacon (Gary), Nackawic, NB, Melody Lagacy, Alberta and Kim Brooks, British Columbia; a daughter-in-law, Susan Drost, Alberta; sons-in-law, Enoil Lagacy and Danny Brooks; nineteen grandchildren, Krista, Adrian, Chris, Jody, Charity, Shannon, Naomi, Jessica, Patience, Cortney, Rachael, Mike, Tina, Missy, Michelle, Charmaine, Joseph, Clinton and Nathan; several great grandchildren; a brother, Eldon Drost (Beatrice), Newfoundland; a sister, Halene Price, Millville, NB; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he as predeceased by a son, Arnold Drost; a granddaughter, Tanya Wilson; brothers, Harry, Avery, Myles, Elwood, Gordon, Roy, Wendell, Arthur, Eddie and Raymond and sisters, Ruby and Della.
At the request of the family, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
