Ann Elizabeth Konefal
1943-2017
Ann E. Konefal of Nackawic, NB passed away on November 16, 2017 at the
Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Ann was born in Glasgow, Scotland in
1943, a daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Wylie) Leishman.
Ann enjoyed curling, golfing, flower gardening, knitting, crocheting and sewing.
She is survived by her children, Kathryn Clark (Tobey), David Konefal, both of Nackawic, NB and Robert Konefal, Woodstock, NB; five grandchildren, Jordan and Dylan, Nicholas and David (DJ), Laura; a great granddaughter, Marlee; siblings, William Mitchell (Joyce), Jefferson, Maine and John Mitchell Jr., Illinois, USA.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Karen Ann and her step-father, John Mitchell Sr.
Visiting hours were held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 1 to 3 pm, followed by the funeral service at 3 pm in the funeral home chapel with Alice Finnamore, Prince William Pastoral Charge officiating. Music was provided by John and Jean Maunder and by Sheila Newlands. Interment will be later in the Marathon Cemetery, Marathon, Ontario.
