Keith Brooks

A father, a grandfather, a brother, a neighbour and friend, he was a good man.

Keith (Kifer) Brooks of Southampton, NB passed away March 12, 2018 at his home. Keith was born at Southampton, NB on May 31, 1960, a son of the late Bert Cronkhite and Rose (O’Donnell) Brooks.

He is survived by his children, Misty Brooks (Cregg), Mary Brooks (Jason), Dana Stairs (Miranda) and Danielle Stairs (Katie); grandchildren, Ashleigh, Mya, Jase, Dakota, Gabriella, Kassandra, Kendra, Kiaunna, Keirra-Lee and Charlie; siblings, Donald Brooks (Gail), Floyd Cronkhite (Kim), Shawn Cronkhite (Patti), Doug O’Donnell, Susan Miller, Patricia Byram (Mike), Beverley Davenport (Ronald), Nina Brooks (Robert), Valerie Gaunce (Seth), Sheila Keetch (Kevin) and Marilyn Cronkhite; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Bert Brooks, Dwight O’Donnell and infant Floyd; three nieces, Jessica, Layla and Madison and a nephew, Riley.

Visiting hours were held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB the day previous to the funeral service which was held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Willard Jones officiating. Music was provided by Tammy Harris and Violet Paisley. A eulogy was delivered by Julie-Ann Graham. A reception followed at the Middle Southampton Community Hall. Interment will be later at the Lenentine Cemetery.

Matthew Brooks was an honorary pallbearer and active pallbearers were Cregg Corey, Jason Lisoway, Jesse Barrett, Andrew Killam, Andrew Mean and William Lozier.
