Andrew Eldon Nathaniel Pickard

Andrew Pickard of Temperance Vale, NB passed away on September 22, 2019. Born on July 8, 1997 at Fredericton, NB, he was a son of L. Andrew and Lorraine (Brown) Pickard. The Toronto Raptors have lost one of their biggest fans, but we know he will be cheering them on from heaven. Through Andrew’s kind and caring example, he leaves us all with a perfect example of how to live and treat others.

He is survived by his parents; his brothers, Dennis Young (Breanna), Cody Young (Asha), Ivan Pickard (Megan) and Adam Pickard (Kayla); eight nieces and nephews, Jessika, Destany, Chloe, Bree-Ann, Alexa, Hunter, Owen and Charlotte; his paternal grandparents, Clarence and Theresa Pickard; two special aunts, Gertie Clites and Rita Stockford and several other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Andrew was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Eldon and Jean Brown and two aunts, Judy Coulter and Joanne Pickard.

Visitation was held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 11 am until 2 pm followed by the funeral service at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Paul Legere officiating. Eulogies and words of remembrance were delivered by Sean Newlands, Ross Calder and Abrianna Cronkhite. Music was provided by pianist Tanya Lagere.

Active pallbearers were Dennis Young, Cody Young, Nick Michaud, Abrianna Cronkhite, Ivan Pickard and Adam Pickard.
Honorary pallbearers were Breanna Fillion, Asha Young, Jared Demerchant and Arthur Clites.

For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Andrew, the family has suggested the Bear Island Cemetery or the SPCA.
