Karen Joyce Cassidy

Karen Joyce Cassidy of Nackawic, NB passed away March 31, 2024 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville, NB after a brief illness. She had just recently celebrated her 55th birthday when she was surrounded by family and friends. Karen was born in Fredericton, NB, on March 27, 1969.

She was predeceased by her mother Patricia Joy Amos and is survived by her father Brian Cassidy and his wife Libby; her sisters Susanne (Shawn Duggan) and Brenda (David DiGiacinto) and brother Brian Jr. and his wife Tammy Ross; also nieces Cassandra DiGiacinto and Bridget Duggan and nephew Finn Duggan; also foster parents Michelle Dickinson and Ryan Morrison and the entire Dickinson family with whom she lived the past twenty years.

A time of visitation was held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 1 to 2 p.m. followed by a funeral service with Mary Grant LLWL officiating. Scripture was read by Karen's sister Brenda Cassidy. Remembrances were delivered by Karen's father, Brian, her sister Susanne Cassidy Duggan and Michelle Dickinson. Music was supplied by Brian and Libby Cassidy.
