Edison Clifford Graham

Edison C. Graham died peacefully with his family by his side at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on November 10, 2008. Born at Springfield, York Co., NB on November 3, 1929, he was the son of the late Houghton and Ada (Jones) Graham of Springfield, York Co. He spent his life farming and working in the woods which he loved.

Edison is survived by his wife, Etta G. (Morgan) Graham; two daughters, Janice Mason (Doug), Springfield and Dorothy Gunter (Richard), Rockland, ON; two sons, Bill Graham (Meda), Nackawic and Joe Graham (Julie), Springfield; twelve grandchildren, Todd Mason (Anne), Woodstock, Jessica Byers (Tom), Belleisle, Joshua Mason, Harvey, Joel Mason, Fredericton, Taleia Mason, Centreville, Jarrad Gunter (Megan), Tweed, ON, Graham Gunter (Elaine), Kingston, ON, Gregory Graham and Ellen Graham, both of Nackawic, Zachary, Zane and Zander Graham all of Springfield; ten great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Hunter, Morgan, Logan, Ryan, Caleb, Tanner, Chase, Hannah and Hayden; a brother, Ronald Graham (Shirley), Cornwall, PE; a sister-in-law, Joyce Graham , Springfield; a brother-in-law, Reg Tweeddale, Fredericton; several nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all, especially his dog Dot, that he loved.

In addition to his parents, Edison was predeceased by a brother, Elwood; four sisters, Dorothy McCauley, Melissa Jewett, Faye Tweeddale and Edith Shee; an infant brother and sister and a great grandson, Cody Charles Byers.

Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Thursday, November 13, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Watson Williams, Rev. George Clark and Rev. Wade Bradford officiating. Interment in Scotch Settlement Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers will be Elbridge Jewett and Michael Shee.

Active pallbearers will be grandsons, Todd Mason, Joshua Mason, Joel Mason, Gregory Graham, Zachary Graham and a niece, Judie Jewett.
