Joseph Andrew McCullough
Joseph A. McCullough of Harvey Station, NB passed away peacefully October 6, 2009 at the Harvey Community Hospital, surrounded by his family. Joe was born at Harvey Station in 1956, a son of the late Allen and Avis (Johnston) McCullough. He was a carpenter by trade and also spent time in his shop listening to music, entertaining his friends and enjoying his hobby, auto body work. He was a loving grandfather to his two grandsons, Jackson, 5, and Jayden who was born only five days before Joe’s passing.

Surviving him are two daughters, Erin McCullough and her son Jackson, Harvey Station and Heather McCullough and her son Jayden, Fredericton; the mother of his children, Shari Watson, Harvey Station; two sisters, Caryle Hill (Robert), Oromocto and Wanda Adamson (Steve), Harvey Station; two brothers, Bryan McCullough (Trudy) and Brad McCullough (Barb), both of Harvey Station and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Joe was predeceased by an infant brother, Kevin Dale.

Visiting hours were held at Swan Funeral Home, 1826 Highway 3, Harvey Station on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service was held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Harvey Station on Friday, October 9, 2009 at 3 p.m. with Rev. Bonnie Wynn officiating. Words of remembrance were delivered by Joe's niece, Kim Chornaby. In addition to the church choir, special music was provided by Carol Gillet. Elaine Raymond was organist. Interment took place in Harvey Settlement Cemetery. A reception followed at the church fellowship hall.

Honorary pallbearers were Tim Lister and Ben Carrier.

Active pallbearers were Leroy Swan, Errol McCullough, Kevin Mowatt, Milton Cleghorn, Dale Briggs and Jimmy Little.
