Carol Vivian* (Brooks) Dore

C. Vivian (Brooks) Dore of Woodstock and formerly of Southampton, passed away January 29, 2010 at Upper River Valley Hospital. Born on January 21, 1949 at Southampton, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Gladys (Chase) Brooks.

Vivian is survived by a daughter, Shelly Jenkins (Howard), Woodstock; a son, Boyd Dore (Kathy), Saint John; six grandchildren, Cody Jenkins, Gracie Jenkins, Evan Dore, Dayton Dore, Kyle Dore and Leah Dore; a brother, Donald Brooks, Southampton; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Medley F. Dore; a son, Greg Dore; an infant daughter, Anita Dore; four sisters, Eileen Killam, Eunice Cochran, Yvonne Orser and Annie Kerr; three brothers, Walter (Tommy), Burt and Eugene Brooks.

Visiting hours were held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic on Sunday from 2 to4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral was held on Monday, February 1, 2010 at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Carl and Evelyn Brewer officiating. Interment will be later at Lenentine Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Howard Jenkins Sr., John Jenkins, Mike Cochran, Donnie Brooks, Paul Brooks and Dennis Brooks.
