Herb Arthur Patterson

Herb A. Patterson of Millville, NB passed away September 22, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Herb was born in Moncton, NB in 1942, a son of the late George and Ethel (Pettinger) Patterson. He was an avid model railroad enthusiast, a history buff who enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn J. (Estey Marr) Patterson; a step-daughter, Heather Cameron (Wayne), Mactaquac, NB; sons Daniel Patterson (Sheila), Hamtown Corner, NB and David Patterson, Waterdown, ON; a step-son, Edward White (Nicole), Ottawa, ON; his grandchildren, Connor, Abigail, Cameron, Angus and Gabriela Patterson, Anna Cameron, Sean Koppernaes, Nicholas Zinck, Dylan and Brady White, Carolyn’s step-sons, Andrew Marr (Faith), William Marr (Angela), Carolyn’s step-grandchildren, Jessica and Matthew Marr; a brother, Reg Patterson (Eleanor), Petitcodiac, NB and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Herb was predeceased by his wife Mabel Patterson (White) and a step-grandson, Michael Koppernaes.
Visiting hours were held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service was held at the Millville Baptist Church, 1469 Route 605, Millville, NB on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Dan Grove and Pastor Dan Foreman officiating. A eulogy prepared by Sharon Connor and Dennis Connor was delivered by Dennis. Music was congregational singing led by Melody Grove and pianist for the service was Pam Billings. Interment was at the Hawkins Corner Cemetery followed by a reception in the Millville Baptist Church fellowship room.
