Stephen Hartley Billings

Stephen H. Billings of Nackawic, NB passed away on June 20, 2021 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Stephen was born on March 14, 1954 at Lower Hainesville, NB, a son of the late Hartley and Mildred (Jones) Billings.

Stephen was a member of Nackawic Baptist Church and a former member of the Green Hill Lake Camp Board of Directors. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed his time with friends at Robins Coffee Shop. He enjoyed his winters spent in Florida and summers in St. Andrews.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela (Dunlop) Billings; his children, Natasha Cronkhite (Andy), Shawn Billings (Jenn Elliott) and Sarah Derrah (Brett); five grandchildren, Abrianna, Seporah, Ethan, Rory and Nathan; his siblings Etta Crawford (Ronnie), Owen Billings, Donna Billings (Lloyd), Audrey Richardson (Gordon), Elwyn Billings, Paulette Hoyt (Fraser), Janet Billings (David), Darlene Brewer (Elmo) and Ferne Estey (Malcolm); an uncle Gerald Billings; two sisters-in-law, Debbie Haines (Gerald) and Denise Hoyt (Martin); several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister Katherine Palmer; an infant brother Arnold; a sister-in-law Alice Billings and brothers-in-law Walter Crawford and Fred Brewer.

Friends and family attended visiting hours at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB the afternoon and evening previous to the funeral service which was held (by invitation only due to Covid 19) on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 2 pm from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Dan Grove, Rev. Robert Dunlop and Eldeana Dunlop officiating (the funeral was video taped and will be available on Millville Nackawic Baptist Church facebook page on beginning Thursday evening). A eulogy was delivered by Stephen's friend Darrell Kimball. Music was provided by Robert and Aldeana. Interment took place at Central Hainesville Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Ron Berube, Kevin Keetch, Percy Jones, Paul Myles, Noel Nason and Roger Lagacy.
Honorary pallbearers were Shawn Billings, Brett Derrah, Andy Cronkhite, Gerald Haines, Martin Hoyt, Kevin Palmer, Michel Robichaud, Gordie Hasson, Roy Coffin, Phil Leger and Allan Myshrall.
