Collier, Chester THOMAS
C. Tom Collier of Fosterville, NB passed away on November 3, 2021 at the Upper River Valley Hospital. Tom was born on November 16, 1929 at Fosterville, NB, a son of the late Hazen and Hazel (McNerlin) Collier.
He is survived by his children, Melinda Farrell (Alvin), Woodstock, NB, Rosalee Grant (Allison), Richmond Corner, NB, Lorry Collier (Beverly), Kirkland, NB, Brent Collier (Lori), Mapledale, NB and Blake Collier (Tina), Southampton, NB; grandchildren, Darlene Lawrence (Derek), Darren Farrell (Jill), Christopher Grant, Patrick Grant (Theresa), Thomas Collier (Jennifer), Jessie Collier, Sarah Brown (Kyle), Jessie Brewer, Graham Collier (Chelsey) and Tyson Collier; great grandchildren, Lily, Macy, Brayden, Edmund, Leah, Kohan, Klair, Hadley, Kinsley, Bailie, Brody, Addie and Austin; four sisters-in-law, Leona Collier, Lois Gould, Donna Smith and Delores Collier; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Gladys (Graham) Collier; brothers Lester and Sam Collier; sisters, Avis Henry, Mary Spinney and Elva Tompkins; grandchildren Stacy Collier and Troy Farrell.
Visiting hours were held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 12 noon until 2 pm, followed by the funeral with Rev. George Clark, Rev. Craig Woodcock and Rev. Charles Yerxa officiating. Interment will followed at Fosterville Lower Cemetery where friends joined the family.
Active pallbearers were grandsons Darren, Christopher, Patrick, Thomas, Graham and Tyson.
Honorary pallbearers were Freeman Farrell, Lorne Home, Beverly Boone, Roy Acott, Derek Lawrence and Richard Graham.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Tom, the family has suggested the Fosterville Lower Cemetery or charity of the donor’s choice.
