At the Grand Falls General Hospital, Grand Falls, NB, on February 3, 2023 at the age of 83, Marie (Levesque) Moorcroft, wife of the late Harry Moorcroft of Nackawic, NB, passed away. Born in 1939, she was a daughter of the late Narcisse Levesque and the late Maimé (Pelletier) Levesque.
She is survived by one son Yvon Ouellette (Anne) of Grand Falls, NB; her grandchildren Eric Ouellette (Manon), Ottawa, ON, Kevin Ouellette (Josée), Ottawa, ON, Annik Ouellette (Joël), Moncton, NB and Niko Ouellette (Emélie), Moncton, NB; siblings Guy Levesque (Geri Rose), Aurora, ON, Therese Bourgoin (late Noël) and her partner Wally Danson, Nackawic, NB, Fern Levesque (Monique), Grand Falls, NB and Marilyn Levesque (late Fidèle), Grand Falls, NB; a sister-in-law Rose Levesque, Richmond, ON; two brothers-in-law Normand Poitras, St. Léonard, NB and Roland Lagacy (Mona M.), Drummond, NB. She will also be missed by her nieces, nephews and friends.
Marie was predeceased by her parents; a son Gilles Ouellette; siblings, Eddie Levesque, Jeannine Poitras and Lucille Lagacy.
There will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Temperance Vale Cemetery, NB.
