Clara Teresa Corbett

Clara T. Corbett of Newmarket, NB passed away at her home on August 13, 2023. She was born on April 4, 1955 at Blissfield, NB, a daughter of the late George and Florence (Morehouse) Brennan.

Clara was a self-taught cook throughout her career and thoroughly enjoyed preparing a big meal for her family. In her retirement, her favorite pastime was baking many treats and sweets to deliver to family and friends. During the Christmas holidays, she was always recruiting help from the young ones to make extra goodies.

She is survived by her husband Stephen Corbett; her children Jill Gaudet, Samanatha Cleghorn (Stephen) and Sarah Douglas; grandchildren Kyle, Serena, Austin and Ashley; a great granddaughter Madelyn; brothers Martin Brennan (Tracey), Ronnie Brennan (Cathy) and Darwin Morehouse (Rose); sisters-in-law Gerry Irwin (Dennis), Janice Corbett and Tess Corbett; brothers-in-law Phillip Corbett, Paul Corbett (Judy), Michael Corbett, Bernie Corbett and Joe Flowers; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Clara was predeceased by her parents and a sister Barbara Brennan.

A time of visitation was held at Swan Funeral Chapel, 1826 Route 3, Harvey Station, NB on Friday, August 18, 2023 from 2 to 4 pm.
