Sharon Roberta (Morehouse) Lindsay
1943-2025
Born on October 15, 1943, in Zealand, NB, Sharon was the daughter of the late Robert and Lena (Corey) Morehouse.
Sharon was not only an amazing woman and mother, but also one of the best cooks around. If you were lucky enough to ever had tasted her homemade bread, fried bread, or one of Grammy’s gigantic cinnamon rolls, you know exactly what we mean. She had a gift for feeding both the body and soul and always made you feel welcome. For 30 years, she worked as the cook at Lindsay Sporting Camps, preparing meals for hunters each spring and fall and loving every minute of it. Searching for new recipes, sharing meals, and being surrounded by her family brought her the greatest joy.
She will be deeply missed by her children, Charles Lindsay of Maplewood, Kimberly Foster (Larry) of Hartland, Amy Wallace (Ray) of Moncton, Glenn Lindsay (Claudette) of Maplewood. She was a proud and loving grandmother to: Tyler (Keira), Hope, Faith, Korbin, Alex, Cameron, Connor and Ryan. Sharon is also survived by her sister, Sandra Palmer of Fredericton; her brother, Blaine Morehouse (Juanita) of Burtts Corner; sisters-in-law, Nancy Morehouse and Barbara Morehouse; and several nieces and nephewsincluding her special niece, Viola Stairs (who was like a Sister) and her husband Marcus.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter-in-law Cindy Marr Stairs; siblings, Garry Morehouse, Danny Morehouse (late Lila), Wayne Morehouse and David Morehouse; and brother-in-law Joseph Palmer.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at York Care Centre, for their kindness and care they have given Mom.
