Martin Robert Elton Sharp

Martin Robert Elton Sharp of Central Waterville, NB passed away unexpectedly at his home on July 28, 2025. Marty was born at Woodstock, NB in 1973, a son of Robert Sharp and the late Pansy (Christie) Carr.

Marty enjoyed surfing marketplace, tic tok, taking care of his cows, hunting, fishing and watching his favorite hockey team the Calgary Flames. He enjoyed tormenting those close to him, watching NASCAR and even on occasion spinning his own tires. Spending time with his dog Maggie and being at his camp were his two favorite things to do. For everything Marty did or took part in, his passion and reason to keep going was his two sons, Ashton and Riley. They were his world and meant everything to him.

Marty is survived by two sons, Riley Sharp (Arianna) and Ashton Sharp; a daughter Amber Doucet; his father, Robert Sharp (Elizabeth); his step-father Donald Carr; sisters Melodie Lindsay (Andy), Lisa Kennedy (Paul) and Jeanette Garland (Warren); nieces and nephews Andrew (Melissa), Kathleen (Jean-Luc), Noah, Luke (Irland), Jessie (Thomas), Nicki (Katelynn), Jessica, Andrew and Denver; great nieces and nephews Taylor, Marshall, Sophia, John, Lilian and Alexis and several cousins, aunts and uncles.

In addition to his mother Marty was predeceased by one niece Kerstin.

Family and friends gathered at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Friday, August 1, 2025 at 7 pm for the funeral service with Rev Ryan Farrell officiating. A eulogy was delivered by Jamie Marr.
