Evelyn Laura McEwen

Evelyn Laura McEwen of Nackawic, NB passed away on October 24, 2025 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. She was born on November 11, 1945 in Fredericton, NB.

She is survived by her brother David Embleton (Susan); niece, Kristin Gillis (Dan) and their son Nolan; brothers-in-law, Edgar Finnis (Chris) and Mark Finnis (Gail); special niece Carol Heppell and several other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Evelyn was predeceased by her parents, Norman and Isabel (Rosborough) Embleton; her husband Murray McEwen; a sister-in-law Gloria Embleton; a sister-in-law and brothers-in-law in Murray’s family.

A graveside service will be held at later date.
