Neville Allan Brewer

1971-2025

Neville Allan Brewer
The family of Neville Allan Brewer of Zealand, NB, are saddened to announce his passing on October 30, 2025 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. He was born on July 13, 1971 in Fredericton, NB.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Sonia (Fillion) Brewer; his children, Corey (Finn) and Jenna (Dominic); his grandson Layne; his mother, Carole (Gilbert) Brewer; two brothers, Trevor (Kim) and TJ (Victoria); as well as his Fillion in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Neville was predeceased by his father, Allan Wade Brewer; his sister Loretta; a brother Robbie; paternal grandparents, Alden and Joyce Brewer; maternal grandparents, Perley Gilbert and Lorraine Gilbert-Bright (Dennie).

Neville was a devoted husband and father and he put his family above all. He was so proud when he got the name ‘pup’ as he had called his grandfather Alden ‘pup’. Neville was a hardworking, honest man, following his father’s footsteps operating heavy equipment for many years. He took pride in his work and always gave 110%.

Neville was known to help anyone who needed a hand, whether it was snowplowing, doing wood or any type of repairs. He loved his community and they all loved him. Neville will be remembered by those who seen him taking his dogs for their daily drive and his jokes followed by his contagious laughter. He brought light to any occasion.

Neville enjoyed being at his camp, listening and dancing to music, coming up with recipes for his family to try, hunting, fishing and falling asleep to the weather network.

Visiting hours were held at Living Hope Pentecostal Church, 2016 Route 104, Zealand, NB on Sunday, November 2, 2025 from 3 to 7 pm. The funeral service was held on Monday, November 3, 2025 at 2 pm from the church with Rev. Charles Kennedy officiating. Rev. Kennedy read a eulogy written by Neville's daughter and a representative from Dexter Construction delivered remembrances of times spent working with Neville. Several co-workers formed an honor guard at the church. Interment took place at St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Lyle Wilson, Greg Brewer, Ryan Brewer, Bruce Aubin, Danny Walls and Jeff Myshrall.

For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Neville, the family has suggested the St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery (cheques made payable to Anglican Parish of Bright).

The family would like to extend gratitude to the staff in the DECH Oncology Department as well as Palliative Care, who cared for him this past year.
