Leslie Murdock Piercy

Leslie Murdock Piercy of Harvey, NB passed away peacefully on May 1, 2026 at his home. He was born on September 16, 1956, a son of the late Beecher and Ruby (Hicks) Piercy.

After spending forty plus years living in Calgary, AB, Les finally moved back to his home province of NB in 2019, where he spent his days caring for his son Mikey, reconnecting with family and friends and doing his favourite things – fishing, barbequing, wheeling on his side-by-side, and enjoying an icy cold beer on his deck.

Leslie is survived by a daughter Christie Clark (Ian); sons Steven Piercy (Emily), Alex Piercy and Michael Piercy; a sister-in-law Patty Piercy; nephews Matthew and Benjamin Piercy; an aunt Beverly Conrad and best friend, Terry Piercy (Debbie).

He was predeceased by his parents and a brother Michael Piercy.

Funeral service was held at Swan Funeral Chapel, 1826 Route 3, Harvey Station, NB on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 11am with Rev. Christine Johnson officiating. A eulogy, written by sister-in-law Patty Piercy was read his son-in-law Ian. Also participating in the service were his daughter Christie and son Alex. A reception followed at Leslie's home. Interment will take place at Acton Cemetery at a later date.
